Our mission is to empower all Australians, in particular those belonging to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, to live their life to the fullest. We aim to produce and share social media content about health and well being.
Ahmed Sokarno is Chief Executive Officer and founder of MyCare Network. He is the former director of the Ethnic Community Council of Queensland (ECCQ). During the mid-1980s, ECCQ began to advocate for Australian seniors - especially those from people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. In 1988, ECCQ opened the first residential aged care facility focusing on cultural inclusiveness. For ten years Mr Sokarno was the Editor-in- Chief of Australia’s first and only Arabic daily newspaper. Mr Sokarno was also the Chairman of Ethnic Media Council of Australia for four years.
